AVLE Board of Directors

The AVLE Board of Directors includes six private attorneys appointed by the Arkansas Bar Association, representatives from the State Legal Services programs, a representative of the Young Lawyers’ section of the Arkansas Bar Association, a representative of the Arkansas Department of Human of Human Services, a representative of the Division of Aging and Adult Services, and a potential client representative. The Board of Directors meets at least biannually and has direct control over the budget, personnel, and policies of AVLE. In addition, board members take responsibility for attorney recruitment, funding, and community education.
